Ebay is a great place to find some really awesome deals on trail cameras. The market is so saturated with new and used items that the cautious shopper can save big money by shopping on Ebay. Your first task should be to read as many trail camera reviews to educated yourself about the pros and cons of each model. You should not limit yourself to one model. The smart shoppers will pick two or three models that fit their application. This provides much more flexibility in finding the best priced trail camera. Notice I said best price because the lowest price does not always mean the best deal. Now you can begin to filter through Ebay for auctions that fit your criteria. As you continue your search for the models that you have selected, you should look for manufacturer authorized dealers. Buying from an authorized dealer will assure that you receive the support and valid warranty

  1. research the seller thoroughly. Don’t fall into the trap and end up with a refurbished trail camera

  2. I purchased 4 Moultrie game camers last season (2008-2009). One was an I-40 the other 3 were I-60′s. I have sent all three of the I-60′s back for repairs due to the information LCD screen either scrambling or completely going out. Moultrie repaired them once but when the LCD screens went out a second time they refused to repair them again. When they work they take great photos and have great battery life (6 D-Cell batterys) but the problem is keeping them working. Only two, the I-40 and one I-60, work this season and the LCD screens are going out on them and they will be useless by the time anyone reads this. In my opinion Moultrie spent a lot of money on the cameras but used cheap LCD screens which negates all the other fine features of this camera. Will not buy any more when these die and tell all my friends to find another brand.

  3. Forgot to say. Temps. at our hunt camp at this time are 95. Moultrie, figure out how to deal with high temps so camera will sense movement and take a picture. Your PIR setting are confusing. Movment or heat senseing. looking at other brands. A very confusing selection whoever you are looking at.

Bought the Moultrie I35. Would not sense an animial or person futher awaqy than 15 ft. Junk! Yes it was hot. So Moultrie, figure out how to deal with high temps. I’m using this camera to scout game in the hot off season. Hello!!!! Off to buy another brand. PIR multiple selection on cameras is so confussing. It deals with heat senseing and motion. What the heck, i’m sticking with my hot stand.
